" Follow Me! (line follower) "

Problem statement :

The objective of the event is to build an autonomous robot which can find its way from the starting point to the finishing end. The robot should traverse between the two lines. The robot can touch the lines but it should not completely come out of the line.

Arena specification :

• Width of the line will be 1cm to 2cm each. The distance between the two lines will be 25cm.
• There will not be any 90 degree turns in the arena.

Bot specification :

• Dimensions of the participant robot should remain 20cm x 20cm at all instants of time. There are no restrictions on height and weight.
• No external power supply should be used. Only DC power supply is permitted and the voltage between any two points should not exceed 12V, at all instants of time.
• Readymade line sensors and obstacle sensors can be used.
• The robot must not damage the arena. Doing so will lead to disqualification of the team.

Rules :

General Instructions :

• Maximum of 2 members per team. Participants from different branches/ college can team up together.
• Personal laptops are allowed to be used until the event starts.
• Participants should register your teams by sending the details.
