- During registration, Candidate must give a Hard Copy of abstract along with the payable amount to ISTE office.
- Abstract must contain Name, Department/year, College name, Contact Details (Cell No.+Email), topic name. Abstract should not be more than 1 page.
- During the event, candidate must bring the soft copy of Abstract, Slides and Synopsis in a CD. No Pen Drive is allowed. In the case if someone brings in a pen drive, their entries will be discarded.
- Candidates who have registered themselves can collect the Receipt from the ISTE office in IT Department.
- Candidate must bring 2 hard copies of Synopsis during the event. One must be submitted at the ISTE office and one must be along the candidates.
- While making the Slides, One must strictly Follow the following pattern-
- Font – Times New Roman
- Title – 18
- Heading -17
- Sub heading -16
- Body content – 14
- Line Spacing – 1.5 pts.
- Candidates must bring their Abstracts, slides and Synopsis in Microsoft 97-2003 (.doc) Format only. In the case, if candidates bring in DOCX or PPTX format, they will be responsible for it.
- Candidates whose abstract are not selected, will be refunded with the cash they paid. They will be intimated either by the Cell Phone or via Email ID.

- Participants will have to produce advertisement for a product in a proper way.
- Time to present the ad will be 3-4 minutes.
- Presentation of the ad can be given in any scheduled language.
- Ad must not contain any obscene words. Any sort of matter which is conflicting to any culture/ language / religion.
- Judging will be done on the basis of originality, humour and stage presence.
- Negative marking for non abidance of rules.
- Judges decision will be final.
Rules:
- A team can have a maximum of four members.
- Every group will be given 45 seconds to collect desired material from the junk poolCutting tools will also be provided.
- Use of articles other than those provided by organizers will lead to disqualification.
- The model will have to be completed in the stipulated time. No extra time will be given. Time duration will be given on the spot.
- The call of the judges is final and no further argument will be entertained.
- Registration fee Rs 200/- per goup
TOPICS:
- Aeroplane/Aircraft

- Two different teams from each department.
- Four teams from first year.
- Therefore the tally is- 2 * 7 + 4 = 18 teams.
- The game is divided in basically two rounds.
- The first round comprises of two slots and second round is the ultimate finale.
- Each team comprises of maximum 4 members.
- 9 teams of different department and first year will simultaneously remain active during the first slot of the round and similarly the rest 9 teams in the second slot respectively
- Out of those two particular slots the winner and runner up from both the slots will be short listed.
- Now in the second and finale round these top 4 teams will be competing against each other and at the end there will one single winner and a runner up.
- Downloaded softwares will not be considered.
- Soft copy of synopsis mail to nippuankush@gmail.com and two hardware copy will be submitted to event co-ordinator.
- Team must be of maximum 5 members.
- Each team will be given 5 minutes to present their project.
- There is no restriction on the platform used for the project i.e. the participants can use C, C++, Java, Oracle as their project platforms.
- Team members should bring one soft copy of their project in a seperate CD to be submitted to the event co-ordinator.
“NIRBHAY”
Theme: Women in India.
Description: Issues related to women’s in India. E.g.; Domestic Violence, Female Feticide, Sexual Molestation, Women’s Strength, Women’s and Society, women’s culture etc.
Rules for Poster Competition:
- Posters will measure 560 x 380 (size in mm).
- Posters must be the original design and creation of the entrant(s).
Computer graphics should not be used. - All entries become the property of the ISTE and cannot be returned.
- Entry should be sent on or before 15 March 2013 till 5 pm.
- Students may work individually or in teams. , the maximum number of students per team is two.
- All the poster shall be submitted to Vineet Singh(T.L. Poster)
- All the participants shall be awarded with Certificates of appreciation.
General Rules:
- The program will be a general ‘C’ language program.
- Each candidate will be given 20 minutes to type the program and after that the coordinators will evaluate the program. A sheet for rough work will be provided to each member.
- From all the candidates, top 2 candidates will be selected on the basis of minimum errors and minimum time consumed by the candidate.
- The selected candidates will be called for the final round and following the same selection criteria the winner will be chosen.
CONCEPT:-
RACE of a remote controlled electric motor based machine that can cross over an artificial path crossing through some hurdles, obstacles .
TRACK DETAILS:
- 1st TRACK: DISCLOSED BEFORE 24 HRS.
- 2nd TRACK: DISCLOSED ON TIME.
PROBLEM STATEMENT:-
The participant should build back a manually controlled vehical that can race on tracks of terrain like sand,speed breaker,space elevation etc.The aim of event is to check robustnesss of vehicle and its competence with the opponent on same track.
Machine specification:
- The machine should be fit in a 30cmx25cmx20cm (Length x Width x height) size of dimension box.
- Weight of robot should not exceed 4 Kg.
- The machine should use Maximum 16V Power Supply .Use of heavy equipment like compressor is banned.
- The machine can be remote operated using wireless or wired operating system.
- Readymade machine would not be allowed (Readymade wheels, motor, battery, RF Remote, switch, microcontroller boards, wires can be used).
RULES AND REGULATIONS:-
- This is racing event so fastest and most balanced robot will win.
- Robot should be as per the given specifications.
- Each team can have maximum 3 members.
- Students from different institutes can form a team.
- Entry fee Rs. 300 per team.
- Each member of the team must contain the identity card of his/her respected event.
- The robot should not damage the arena.
- The robot must not leave behind any of its parts during the run; else it will result in Disqualification.
- Unethical behavior could lead to disqualification. Faculty coordinators have all the rights to take final decision for any matter during the event.
- Judge's decision will be considered final.
- Certificates will be given to all the participants.

Rules:
- Teams of two participants only can contest for this event.
- There will be total 2 rounds.
- First round will be elimination round with ON SPOT PROBLEM STATEMENT from fields of electronics.
- Second round will be circuit designing round in which actual application has to be made.
- Both the rounds are open in nature, means you will be provided question sheets/components on the registration desk and you need to submit them back within the specified time limit.
- There will be time bonus.
- All the components and material required for the circuit will be provided by us.
- Power supply and other testing devices like multimeter, CRO (if needed) and other tools will be made available in a shared hall.
CIRCUIT:- (Disclosed on time)
The application will be judged according to the following criteria:

Need For Speed Most Wanted:
- For NFS the loops will be displayed at the ISTE office 3 days before the event.
- NFS MW is a single player game, where 4 participants will race at same time and the winner will proceed to the next arena.
Counter Strike:
- Counter strike is a multiplayer game in which a group of 5 participants is allowed.
- Every team has to play as Counter Terrorist and Terrorist simultaneously.
- Maps for the Counter Strike will be revealed 3 day's before the event at the ISTE office.
- Team that wins most of the rounds will qualify for the next level.
*NOTE:
All participants can carry their own gadgets as headphones, mouse, etc....Rules For WORD WRANGLE (Debate Competition ):-
- Each participant will be allotted with their respective id.
- No papers are allowed<
- Total 7minute i.e 4 min. For presenting individual views & 3 min. For counter views(rebuuttling)
- Judges decision will be final decision
- Language preferred in English only
